VitaSeq develops a blood-based microRNA biomarker signature for early detection of cognitive decline and neurodegeneration-related functional dysregulation. Unlike protein-based amyloid or tau assays that primarily detect established pathology, VitaSeq’s approach targets upstream regulatory mechanisms associated with neuronal plasticity, inflammation, and cognitive resilience.The technology is based on a defined threemicroRNA signature measurable in whole blood using qPCR or digital PCR (dPCR), enabling scalable and cost-efficient implementation. The approach is designed for early risk stratification, patient selection, and longitudinal monitoring applications.
