In case of physical load / physical training, there are different indicators for the status of a person. The measurement of the lactate level is well known from competitive sports. This parameter reflects the metabolic activity, which has some drawbacks: data can be collected only during activity, the “steady state” during the anaerobe stage has to be anticipated and there are several pitfalls possibly leading to incorrect data. Therefore, there is a high fault rate in these endurance-testing procedures.
A new method for the assessment of physical fitness has been developed which is based on a new marker. The marker relates to muscular activity. With this marker it is possible to control the development of physical fitness during a training session but also over the whole season. For the first time it is possible to generate valid data to indicate excessive or overload during training. Furthermore it gives a detailed picture of the regeneration of a person. This method could also be applied to animals e.g. racing horses.
The invented technology gives the opportunity for a leading testing approach in the field of professional sports of humans and animals.
