MBiotec

MBiotec, Munich Germany is focused on the development of Toll-like receptor (TLR) agonists, are a very promising new target for cancer treatment.
Our proprietary drug candidate, the synthetically manufactured Macrophage Activating LipoPeptide-2, MALP-2S, is designed to specifically stimulate the TLR 2/6 dimer, which belongs to a family of receptors activating the innate immune system. MBiotec will primarily develop MALP-2S for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
In April, 2009 the COMP adopted a positive opinion recommending MALP-2S for designation as orphan medicinal product to the European Commission.
