BioVaria’s unique format enables delegates to gain a comprehensive overview of the commercial opportunities presented and then dig deeper into projects that could match their licensing and investment strategies.
10min oral presentations
- Four presentation streams with up to six 10-min presentations per stream
- No question and answer sessions following the oral presentations
- Each technology that has been presented is also available as poster in the exhibition room
- Opportunity to discuss individual questions face-to-face with the inventors at their posters during the breaks following each presentation stream
Spin-off panel
- Up to ten promising European spin-offs, up to five per session
- Brief introductory statement from each company followed by challenging question time (round-table session)
- EUR 3,000 ‘BioVaria Spin-off Award’ for the most convincing candidate in terms of team, technology and business concept
- Each spin-off is also presented by a poster in the exhibition room
- Opportunity to discuss individual questions face-to-face with the entrepreneurs in the exhibition room during the break following the spin-off panel
All-day poster exhibition
- Overall about 60 posters: approx. 50 on licensable technologies half of which are also orally presented, approx. 10 on spin-offs all of which are also featured in the spin-off panel
- Scientists and entrepreneurs will be available at their posters following their presentation stream / spin-off panel
